The Aspens is a large development along the Teton Village Road made up of single family homes, condominiums and commercial businesses. Conveniently located, this neighborhood has a START public bus stop and is less than 5 miles from the renowned Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, while still being only 12 minutes away from the Town of Jackson. There is a vibrant commercial business area including a market/wine shop, coffee shop, bank, sports club and pool, and several restaurants. The Aspens is popular for full time residents as well as second home owners as the entire neighborhood is zoned for short term rentals, meaning owners are allowed to rent their properties to vacationers to generate rental income while they are away.

Many of the condominiums in The Aspens were built in the mid 1970s. The majority of condos (approx. 300) were designed by San Francisco architect John O’Brien and are marked with high flat front faces of the typical western town and wooden covered boardwalks. The floor plans are very efficient with galley kitchens and were originally built with bunk beds. Approximately 20% of the condos were built by other private ventures and offer differing floor plans and appearances. More recently (1990s) the Cove condos (and garages) were built along the northern edge of the development with beautiful vies of the abutting ranch land and the Teton mountain range. There are also approximately 60 single family homes lots, with homes ranging in age, size and design.
